There’s only one place on Earth where Top of the World is not just a feeling but a complete statement – on top of Mount Everest! The highest physical point on our tiny blue dot deserves all the reverence and attention it gets – from the climbing community and the non-climbing community alike. Tucked away in the small, beautiful country of Nepal in the Mahalangur Himal sub-region of the Himalayas, the border of China and Nepal runs right through its crown.

The sport of mountaineering has never been the same after Everest was first successful scaled on May 29th, 1953 by names we all very well know – Edmund Hillary and Tenzing Norgay. The very human fire to push the edge farther and farther away to explore places known and unknown became a lot more acceptable and acknowledged after this incredible feat. Everest has since seen thousands

FAQs

Our Himalayan expeditions are suitable for trekkers with basic to moderate fitness levels. Prior trekking experience is recommended for high-altitude routes above 4,000 meters.

The minimum age is generally 14 years. Participants below 18 must be accompanied by a guardian. Trekkers above 60 should carry a medical fitness certificate.

We recommend 4–6 weeks of preparation including cardio (running, stair climbing), strength training (squats, lunges), and endurance walks with a loaded backpack.

Each NK Adventure expedition is designed to provide immersive mountain experiences — combining scenic landscapes, local culture, and professionally guided high-altitude trekking.

Difficulty varies by route. Most Himalayan expeditions fall under Moderate to Difficult category depending on altitude, terrain, and weather conditions.

Spring (April–June) and Autumn (September–October) are typically the best seasons due to stable weather and clear mountain views.

Our expeditions are led by certified outdoor leaders trained in first aid, altitude management, and emergency response. Safety briefings are conducted before and during the trek.

Our team monitors participants closely. In case of AMS symptoms, immediate descent and medical assistance are arranged as per safety protocol.

You will need trekking shoes, layered clothing, rain protection, gloves, backpack, and personal essentials. A detailed packing list is shared after booking.

Rental options may be available depending on the expedition. Please check with our team while booking.
