Day 01
Make your way to Kathmandu (1,400M)
The expedition begins in Kathmandu, a vibrant city filled with trekking culture and mountaineering energy.
This day is for arrival, settling into the hotel, and meeting fellow climbers and team members.
A briefing session is conducted to discuss the expedition plan and preparations.
Day 02
Final shopping & official formalities in Kathmandu (1,400M)
Today is dedicated to final gear checks, shopping for missing equipment, and completing formalities.
This ensures everything is in place before heading into the mountains.
Day 03
Drive from Kathmandu to Dharapani (1,865M)
Distance: 200 kms
Duration: 8–10 hours
We begin our long drive via the Prithvi Highway and reach Dharapani after a mix of smooth and rough road sections.
Day 04
Trek to Tilje (2,300M)
Distance: 8 kms
Duration: 4–5 hours
The trek starts through forest trails filled with rhododendrons.
We stay overnight at a lodge in Tilje.
Day 05
Trek to Bhimthang (3,725M)
Distance: 16 kms
Duration: 9–10 hours
A long trekking day with significant altitude gain through alpine landscapes.
We take frequent breaks for proper acclimatization.
Day 06
Acclimatization Day at Bhimthang (3,725M)
This day allows the body to adapt to altitude. Light exploration is recommended.
Day 07
Bhimthang to Samdo via Larkey Pass (5,100M)
Distance: 16 kms
Duration: 8–9 hours
We cross the high Larkey Pass and descend towards Samdo.
Enjoy stunning views of Himalayan peaks along the way.
Day 08
Samdo to Samagaon (3,540M)
Distance: 16 kms
Duration: 5 hours
The trail follows the Budi Gandaki River through forests and scenic landscapes.
Day 09
Rest and Acclimatization Day in Samagaon (3,540M)
A rest day to prepare for the base camp trek ahead.
Day 10
Samagaon to Manaslu Base Camp (4,750M)
Distance: 12 kms
Duration: 5–6 hours
A steady climb towards base camp with increasing altitude and colder conditions.
Day 11 – Day 13
Manaslu Base Camp (4,750M)
These days are used for acclimatization, training, gear distribution, and preparation.
A traditional puja ceremony is conducted for safety and success.
Day 14 – Day 29
Expedition
The climb involves multiple camps at increasing altitudes up to 8,163M.
Rotation climbs, acclimatization, and summit attempts are conducted based on weather conditions.
Challenges include extreme cold, crevasses, high winds, and low oxygen levels.
Day 30
Base Camp to Samagaon (3,540M)
Distance: 12 kms
Duration: 3–4 hours
We descend back after cleaning up the base camp.
Day 31
Fly to Arkhet & drive to Kathmandu (1,400M)
A helicopter transfer followed by a drive back to Kathmandu.
Day 32
Free Day in Kathmandu (1,400M)
A day for rest and celebration after the expedition.
Day 33
Departure from Kathmandu (1,400M)
Plan your departure after breakfast.
Day 34 – Day 37
