Who Can Participate

  • Age Requirement:
    • Minimum 9 years
  • First-timers are welcome, though prior trekking experience is preferred. Good fitness is a must.
  • Fitness Criteria:
    • The Trekker should have sufficient stamina to cover 5 km of distance by jogging in 35 minutes without stress or 10 km of distance in 80 minutes without stress
    • If the trekker prefers cycling he/ she should be able to cycle 10 km of distance in 30 minutes.
  • If the trekker wants to carry a backpack then he/she should be able to carry a 10-12 kg backpack. If opt Off-load option then the trekker should be able to carry a 3-5 kg backpack.
  • If a trekker’s BMI is more or less than the normal range (18-29), please consult our Trek Coordinator before booking.

Day-1: Manali to Rumsu Village

Day-2: Rumsu Village and Trek to Naya Tapru

  • Altitude:

Day-3: Naya Tapru to Chaklani Camp

  • Altitude:
    • Naya Tapru: 3,200 m / 10,600 ft
    • Chaklani Camp: 3,400 m / 11,400 ft
  • Trek Distance: 2 km | 3 hrs

Day-4: Chaklani Camp to Chandrakhani Pass and Back to Naya Tapru

Day 1: Dehradun to Sankri (Drive)

Scenic drive from Dehradun to Sankri via Mussoorie and Purola. Enjoy views of the Yamuna and Tons rivers along the way.

Sankri, located inside Govind National Park, serves as the base camp for the Bali Pass Trek.

Day 2: Sankri to Seema via Dharkot

  • Seema: 2,600 m / 8,500 ft
  • Drive: 24 km | 2 hrs
  • Trek: 10 km | 6–7 hrs

Drive to Dharkot and begin trekking through forests of cedar, pine, and oak. Pass Gangar village before reaching Seema.

Day 3: Seema to Devsu Bugyal

  • Trek Distance: 5–6 km | 5–6 hrs

Trek along the Supin River and gradually ascend to the lush meadows of Devsu Bugyal.

Day 4: Devsu Bugyal to Ruinsara Tal

Trek to the beautiful glacial lake of Ruinsara Tal surrounded by alpine meadows and rhododendrons.

Day 5: Ruinsara Tal to Odari

A short yet scenic trek to Odari, known for its natural rock caves and views of Swargarohini peaks.

Day 6: Odari to Bali Col Camp

Steep ascent along a ridge toward Bali Col Camp. Carry sufficient water as no sources are available en route.

Acclimatize properly and rest early for the summit day.

Day 7: Bali Pass Summit to Lower Dhamni

Day 8: Lower Dhamni to Janki Chatti & Drive to Dehradun

Final descent toward Janki Chatti through scenic trails.

• No refund is made if the trip is cancelled after the departure for Expedition.
