Who Can Participate

  • Age Requirement:
    • Minimum 8 years.
  • First-timers are welcome, though prior trekking experience is preferred. Good fitness is a must.
  • Fitness Criteria:
    • The trekker should have sufficient stamina to cover 5 km of distance by jogging in 40 minutes without stress or 10 km of distance in 90 minutes without stress
    • If the trekker prefers cycling, he/she should be able to cycle 8 km of distance in 30 minutes.
  • If the trekker wants to carry a backpack, he/she should be able to carry a 10-12 kg backpack. If opt Off-load option then the trekker should be able to carry a 3-5 kg backpack.
  • If a trekker’s BMI is more or less than the normal range (18-29), please consult our Trek Coordinator before booking.

Day-1: Dehradun to Natin village

  • Altitude: Natin Village – 2,250 m/ 7,400 ft.
  • Distance: 180 km | Duration: 7-8 hrs

Day-2: Natin to Gui

  • Altitude (Gui): 3000 m/ 9,800 ft
  • Trek Distance: 4-5 km | 4-5 hrs

Day-3: Gui to Chilapada

  • Altitude (Chilpada): 3,300 m/ 10,500 ft
  • Trek Distance: 3 km | 2 hrs

Day-4: Chilapada To Dayara Top and Trek to Nayata

The journey begins with a scenic drive from Dehradun to Natin Village, the base camp for the Dayara Bugyal Trek. As you travel through the beautiful mountain roads of Uttarakhand, the scenery gradually transforms from city landscapes to peaceful Himalayan valleys.

Along the way, you may get views of the Gangotri mountain range and the prominent Shrikanth peak. Natin village is located near Uttarkashi and offers stunning views of surrounding mountains.

After reaching the village, check into the guest house and relax. In the evening, meet your trek leader for a short briefing about the upcoming trek. Enjoy dinner and prepare for the adventure ahead.

Day 2: Natin Village to Gui

  • Altitude: 3,000 m / 9,800 ft
  • Trek Distance: 4–5 km | 4–5 hrs
  • Stay: Tents

Begin the trek from Natin village and ascend gradually through beautiful forest trails filled with oak, maple, and rhododendron trees.

The trail is beginner-friendly and offers peaceful surroundings as you slowly gain altitude. As you approach Gui campsite, the views of surrounding Himalayan peaks begin to appear.

After reaching the campsite, spend time exploring the nearby forest and acclimatizing to the altitude. Overnight stay in tents.

Day 3: Gui to Chilapada

  • Altitude: 3,300 m / 10,500 ft
  • Trek Distance: 3 km | 2–3 hrs
  • Stay: Tents

Today’s trek is relatively short and easy as you move from Gui to Chilapada. The trail gradually climbs through forests before opening to clearer mountain views.

From Gui Thatch you can see impressive Himalayan peaks including Shrikanth and the Gangotri range. The peaceful campsite at Chilapada is surrounded by forests and offers a perfect place to relax.

Spend the evening enjoying the serene environment and prepare for the summit day ahead.

Day 4: Chilapada to Dayara Top and Trek to Nayata

  • Nayata: 2,800 m / 9,200 ft

    • Chilapada → Dayara Top: 5 km | 5–6 hrs
    • Dayara Top → Nayata: 6 km | 3–4 hrs

Today is the highlight of the trek as you hike to the beautiful Dayara Bugyal meadows and the summit area known as Dayara Top.

The trail gradually opens into vast alpine meadows that remain lush green in summer and covered with snow in winter. From the top, enjoy breathtaking views of peaks like Bandarpoonch, the Gangotri range, and the Dodital region.

After spending time at the summit, descend towards Nayata campsite through scenic meadows and forests. Overnight stay in tents.

Day 5: Nayata to Natin Village and Drive to Dehradun

  • Altitude: 2,250 m / 7,500 ft
  • Trek Distance: 5 km | 3 hrs
  • Drive Distance: 180 km | 7–8 hrs

After breakfast, descend from Nayata campsite back to Natin village through forest trails.

Once you reach the village, begin the drive back to Dehradun. The scenic journey along mountain roads and the Bhagirathi River marks the end of this memorable trekking experience.

Arrive in Dehradun by evening and conclude the Dayara Bugyal trek with wonderful Himalayan memories.

At Base Camp Natin, trekkers stay in guest houses on a triple or quad sharing basis with separate arrangements for males and females. During the trek, accommodation is provided in twin-sharing all-season tents along with sleeping bags and mattresses. These are part of the central equipment arranged by the trekking team.

Payment & Cancellation Policy:

When you have firmly decided to undertake the Tour with New Knight Adventure, you will need to book the trip with us. We must allocate enough time to prepare, obtain necessary documents and permits, and book hotels and Transport for the trip.
25% advance during the time of booking for confirmation
50% Amount one month prior of arrival in India
25% Amount to be one week prior of arrival in India

 

Cancellation Policy:

• If the cancellation is made 30 days before the tour starts, 25% of the full payment will be deducted and 75% will be refunded.
• If the cancellation is made 20 days before the tour start, 35% of the full payment will be deducted and 65% will be refunded
• If the cancellation is made 10 days before the tour start, 80% will be deducted and 20% will be refunded.
• No refund is made if the trip is cancelled after the departure for Expedition.
• No refund is made during the running tour.
• The cost of travel permit or any other documentation charges will not be refundable
