Who Can Participate

  • Age Requirement:
    • Minimum 16 years
  • Fitness Criteria:
    • The Trekker should have sufficient stamina to cover 5 km of distance in 30 minutes without stress or 10 km of distance by jogging in 70 minutes without stress.
    • If the trekker prefers cycling he/ she should be able to cycle 20 km of distance in 55 minutes.
    • First-time trekkers are welcome, provided they meet the mentioned fitness requirements.
  • If the trekker wants to carry a backpack then he/she should be able to carry a 10-12 kg backpack. If opt Off-load option then the Trekker should be able to carry 3-5 kg backpack.
  • If a trekker’s BMI is more or less than the normal range (18-26), please consult our Trek Coordinator before booking

Day-1: Dehradun to Sankri (Drive)

Day-2: Sankri to Seema via Dharkot

  • Altitude:
    • Seema: 2,600 m/ 8,500 ft
    • Dharkot: 2,400 m/ 8,000 ft
  • Trek Distance (Dharkot- Seema): 4 km | 3-4 hours.
  • Drive Distance (Sankri – Dharkot): 24 km | 2 hrs.

Day-3: Seema to Devsu Bugyal

  • Altitude: 3,100 m/ 10,200 ft.
  • Trek Distance : 5-6km | 5-6 hr.

Day-4: Devsu Bugyal to Ruinsara Tal

  • Altitude Ruinsara Tal: 3,600 m/ 11,800 ft.

Day-5: Ruinsara Tal to Odari

  • Altitude: 4,000 m/ 13,100 ft.

Day 1: Dehradun to Sankri (Drive)

Scenic drive from Dehradun to Sankri via Mussoorie and Purola. Enjoy views of the Yamuna and Tons rivers along the way.

Sankri, located inside Govind National Park, serves as the base camp for the Bali Pass Trek.

Day 2: Sankri to Seema via Dharkot

Drive to Dharkot and begin trekking through forests of cedar, pine, and oak. Pass Gangar village before reaching Seema.

Trek along the Supin River and gradually ascend to the lush meadows of Devsu Bugyal.

Welcome to Leh! Your journey in the Land of High Passes begins today. Upon arrival at Kushok Bakula Rimpochee Airport, our driver will receive you and transfer you to your hotel.

Leh lies at an altitude of around 11,500 ft, so your first day is reserved for acclimatisation. Rest well and avoid any strenuous activity to allow your body to adjust to the lower oxygen levels.

In the evening you will visit some famous landmarks of Leh:

Leh Palace – A historic 17th century royal palace located on a hill overlooking Leh town. The palace offers beautiful views of the surrounding mountains and valley.

Shanti Stupa – A white domed Buddhist monument situated on a hilltop. The peaceful surroundings and sunset views from here are truly spectacular.

After sightseeing, return to the hotel for dinner and rest for the night.

Day 2: Leh Local Sightseeing

Today you will explore the famous attractions around Leh.

Hall of Fame – A museum maintained by the Indian Army dedicated to soldiers who sacrificed their lives in various wars. It displays military history, weapons and stories of bravery.

Spituk Monastery – One of the oldest monasteries in Ladakh, located on a hill overlooking the Indus River. Inside you will see Buddha statues, scriptures and prayer halls.

Gurudwara Pathar Sahib – A sacred Sikh shrine associated with Guru Nanak Dev Ji. The place is highly revered by visitors and pilgrims.

Magnetic Hill – A fascinating location known for an optical illusion where vehicles appear to move uphill when left in neutral.

Sangam – The confluence of the Indus and Zanskar Rivers. The two rivers flow together with distinct colors creating a beautiful natural sight.

After sightseeing you will return to Leh for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 3: Leh to Nubra Valley via Khardung La

Today you will travel from Leh to Nubra Valley via the famous Khardung La Pass, one of the highest motorable roads in the world.

Khardung La Pass offers breathtaking views of the surrounding mountains and is a major highlight of the journey.

Next you will visit Diskit Monastery, the largest monastery in Nubra Valley. The monastery is known for its 106-foot tall Maitreya Buddha statue overlooking the valley.

Later visit the famous Sand Dunes of Hunder, where you may see the unique double-humped Bactrian camels.

You will also explore Hunder Village, known for its cold desert landscape and scenic surroundings.

Dinner and overnight stay will be in Nubra Valley.

Day 4: Nubra Valley to Pangong Lake via Shyok River

Today you travel from Nubra Valley to the spectacular Pangong Lake via the scenic Shyok River route.

The drive follows rugged terrain along the river, offering dramatic landscapes and untouched beauty.

Lukung will be your first glimpse of the famous Pangong Lake.

Pangong Lake is one of the most beautiful high-altitude lakes in the world. The lake changes colors from turquoise to deep blue depending on sunlight.

You will also visit the popular 3 Idiots shooting point, where scenes from the Bollywood movie were filmed.

Enjoy the evening by the lake before retiring to your camp for the night.

Day 5: Pangong Lake to Leh via Chang La

After enjoying the beautiful sunrise at Pangong Lake, you will drive back to Leh.

Chang La Pass is one of the highest mountain passes on the route offering spectacular mountain views.

You will also visit the famous Druk Padma Karpo School, popularly known as the "3 Idiots School".

Next you will explore Shey Palace, an ancient royal residence of the Ladakhi kings.

The final stop is Thiksey Monastery, one of the largest monasteries in Ladakh known for its beautiful hilltop architecture and the 49-foot tall Maitreya Buddha statue.

After sightseeing you will return to Leh for dinner and overnight stay.

The Leh Ladakh tour is generally easy to moderate. Since most travel is done by vehicle, it does not require intense physical effort. With proper acclimatization and rest, it is suitable for most travellers.

Payment & Cancellation Policy:

When you have firmly decided to undertake the Tour with NK Adventures, you will need to book the trip with us. We must allocate enough time to prepare, obtain necessary documents and permits, and book hotels and Transport for the trip.
25% advance during the time of booking for confirmation
50% Amount one month prior of arrival in India
25% Amount to be one week prior of arrival in India

 

Cancellation Policy:

• If the cancellation is made 30 days before the tour starts, 25% of the full payment will be deducted and 75% will be refunded.
• If the cancellation is made 20 days before the tour start, 35% of the full payment will be deducted and 65% will be refunded
• If the cancellation is made 10 days before the tour start, 80% will be deducted and 20% will be refunded.
• No refund is made if the trip is cancelled after the departure for Expedition.
• No refund is made during the running tour.
• The cost of travel permit or any other documentation charges will not be refundable

Note: NK Adventures do all the ground operations in advance (As soon as we received the confirmation request from the guest). We pay advance payment to all our vendors to ensure all the services that we promise with the guest.
