Who Can Participate
Age Requirement:
Minimum 18 years
Experience of at least two high-altitude trek (4,500m- 5,000m) is required. First-timers are advised to avoid this trek.
Fitness Criteria:
The trekker should have sufficient stamina to cover 6 km of distance by jogging in 30 minutes without stress or 10 km of distance in 60 minutes without stress
If the trekker prefers cycling he/she should be able to cycle 25 km of distance in 65 minutes.
Trekkers must be able to carry a 10-15 kg backpack, as off-load options are not recommended.
If a trekker’s BMI is more or less than the normal range (18-26), please consult our Trek Coordinator before booking.

Day-1: Arrival Kathmandu

Transfer to hotel and briefing.
Day-2: Drive from Kathmandu to Ramechap, fly to Lukla from Kathmandu & trek to Phakding
Altitude: Lukla – 2,850 m/ 9,350 ft | Phakding – 2,600 m/ 8,500 ft.
Trek Distance(Lukla to Phakding): 7 km | 4-5 hrs.
Note: Flights to Lukla are prone to delay due to weather, keep two or three buffer days in your plan.
Day-3: Trek from Phakding to Namche Bazaar
Altitude( Namche Bazaar): 3,450 m/ 11,300 ft.
Trek Distance: 10 km | 7 hrs.
Day-4: Namche Bazaar Acclimatization Day
Today is acclimatization day.
You can hike up to Sherpa Cultural Museum to get a view of Everest and Ama Dablam.
It’s worth exploring the town, a good place to buy trekking gear.
ATMs, internet cafes, shops, and restaurants are available at extra cost.
Stay in the guesthouse.
Day-5: Trek from Namche bazaar to Tengboche monastery

A small hike today will show you the world’s six tallest peaks including Lhotse (8,516 m), Makalu (8,463 m), and Cho Oyu (8,188 m).
From another location, you can see the Imja Khola Valley and Dingboche Valley.

Welcome to Nepal, the gateway to the Himalayas. After arriving in Kathmandu, transfer to your hotel and relax. In the evening, attend a briefing session where your trek leader will explain the itinerary, safety guidelines and equipment required for the Lobuche Peak expedition.
Day 2: Fly to Lukla and Trek to Phakding
Lukla: 2,850 m / 9,350 ft
Phakding: 2,600 m / 8,500 ft

Take an early morning flight to Lukla, one of the most scenic mountain flights in the world. Begin your trek through small Sherpa villages and forested trails, crossing suspension bridges and enjoying views of the Himalayan landscape before reaching Phakding.
Day 3: Trek from Phakding to Namche Bazaar
Altitude: 3,450 m / 11,300 ft
Trek Distance: 10 km | 6–7 hrs
Today’s trek takes you along the Dudh Koshi River through pine forests and suspension bridges. After entering Sagarmatha National Park, the trail climbs steeply to Namche Bazaar, the vibrant trading hub of the Khumbu region and gateway to Everest.
Day 4: Acclimatization Day at Namche Bazaar
This day is reserved for acclimatization. Explore Namche Bazaar, visit the Sherpa Cultural Museum or hike to the Everest View Point for panoramic views of Everest, Ama Dablam and surrounding peaks.
Day 5: Trek from Namche Bazaar to Tengboche
Altitude: 3,850 m / 12,650 ft
Trek Distance: 11 km | 5–6 hrs
Walk along scenic trails with stunning views of Everest, Lhotse and Ama Dablam. After descending to Phunki Tenga, climb through rhododendron forests to reach Tengboche, home to the largest monastery in the Khumbu region.
Day 6: Trek from Tengboche to Dingboche
Altitude: 4,350 m / 14,250 ft
Trek Distance: 12 km | 6–7 hrs
Descend through forests and cross the Imja River before gradually climbing to Dingboche. Along the way enjoy magnificent views of Ama Dablam and surrounding Himalayan peaks.
Day 7: Acclimatization Day at Dingboche
Spend the day acclimatizing to the increasing altitude. A short hike to nearby viewpoints helps your body adjust while offering panoramic views of the Everest region.
Day 8: Trek from Dingboche to Lobuche
Altitude: 4,950 m / 16,200 ft
Trek Distance: 6 km | 4–5 hrs
The trail climbs gradually through alpine terrain and moraine fields. Pass memorial sites dedicated to climbers who lost their lives on Everest before reaching the small settlement of Lobuche.
Day 9: Trek to Everest Base Camp via Gorakshep
Gorakshep: 5,150 m / 16,900 ft
Everest Base Camp: 5,350 m / 17,700 ft
Trek along the Khumbu Glacier to Gorakshep and continue towards the iconic Everest Base Camp. Enjoy breathtaking views of Nuptse, Khumbutse and Pumori before returning to Gorakshep for overnight stay.
Day 10: Hike to Kala Patthar and Return to Lobuche
Kala Patthar: 5,550 m / 18,200 ft
Begin early morning hike to Kala Patthar for spectacular sunrise views over Mount Everest and surrounding peaks. After enjoying the panorama, descend back to Lobuche.
Day 11: Trek from Lobuche to High Camp
Lobuche: 4,950 m
High Camp: 5,300 m
Today you trek to Lobuche High Camp where preparations for the summit begin. The trail gradually ascends over rocky terrain.
Day 12: Preparation and Training Day
Spend the day resting and preparing for the summit. Your climbing guide will check your equipment and provide training on using ropes, crampons and ice axes.
Day 13: Summit Lobuche Peak and Return to High Camp
Lobuche East Peak: 6,119 m / 20,070 ft
Start early for the summit climb using technical climbing equipment. The final section involves a steep snow and ice slope. From the summit enjoy breathtaking views across the Khumbu region before descending back to High Camp.
Day 14: Trek from High Camp to Pangboche
Altitude: 4,000 m / 12,800 ft
Descend through alpine landscapes to Pangboche village. Along the way enjoy scenic views and visit the historic Pangboche Monastery.
Day 15: Trek from Pangboche to Namche Bazaar
Altitude: 3,450 m / 11,300 ft
Trek Distance: 14 km | 6–7 hrs
Continue descending through forests and villages before reaching Namche Bazaar where you can relax and celebrate the successful summit.
Day 16: Trek from Namche Bazaar to Lukla
Trek Distance: 17 km | 7–8 hrs
The final trekking day follows the Dudh Koshi River through familiar villages and suspension bridges before reaching Lukla.
Day 17: Fly from Lukla to Kathmandu
Take a scenic morning flight back to Kathmandu. Transfer to the hotel and enjoy free time exploring the city.
Day 18: Departure from Kathmandu
Your Himalayan adventure concludes today. Transfer to the airport for your onward journey with unforgettable memories of the Lobuche Peak expedition.

The Lobuche Peak Trek is considered moderately challenging. It involves high-altitude trekking and some technical climbing during the summit push. Prior trekking experience and good physical fitness are recommended.
You need a Sagarmatha National Park entry permit and a Lobuche Peak climbing permit. These permits are usually arranged by the trekking agency as part of the expedition package.
The best time for the Lobuche Peak Trek is during the spring season (March to May) and the autumn season (September to November). These months offer stable weather, clear skies, and ideal trekking conditions.
Accommodation during the trek is typically in tea houses and lodges along the route. These provide basic but comfortable twin-sharing rooms with common bathrooms. Tents are generally used at Lobuche Peak base camp.
Yes, altitude sickness can occur due to the high elevations reached during the trek. Proper acclimatization days are included in the itinerary to help trekkers adjust gradually. Staying hydrated and following the guide's advice is important.
Tea houses along the trekking route serve a variety of meals including Nepali, Tibetan, and international dishes. Food is freshly prepared, though menu options may become limited as you ascend to higher altitudes.
Basic climbing equipment such as ropes, ice axes, crampons, and harnesses are usually provided by the expedition team. Personal gear such as climbing boots, gloves, and suitable clothing should be brought by trekkers or rented in Kathmandu.
You should be in good physical condition and preferably have prior trekking experience. The trek involves long days of hiking at high altitude and a demanding summit climb. Regular cardio and endurance training beforehand is recommended.
In case of emergencies, evacuation procedures are available. Guides are trained in first aid and carry medical kits. It is highly recommended to have travel insurance that covers emergency helicopter evacuation and medical expenses.

When you have firmly decided to undertake the Tour with New Knight Adventure, you will need to book the trip with us. We must allocate enough time to prepare, obtain necessary documents and permits, and book hotels and Transport for the trip. 25% advance during the time of booking for confirmation 50% Amount one month prior of arrival in India 25% Amount to be one week prior of arrival in India
Cancellation Policy:
• If the cancellation is made 30 days before the tour starts, 25% of the full payment will be deducted and 75% will be refunded. • If the cancellation is made 20 days before the tour start, 35% of the full payment will be deducted and 65% will be refunded • If the cancellation is made 10 days before the tour start, 80% will be deducted and 20% will be refunded. • No refund is made if the trip is cancelled after the departure for Expedition. • No refund is made during the running tour. • The cost of travel permit or any other documentation charges will not be refundable
