3 Days Bangalore & Mysore Educational Heritage Expedition

Assemble early in the morning in Delhi for your scheduled flight or train to Bangalore (Bengaluru). Upon arrival at Kempegowda International Airport or the railway station, you will be warmly received by your dedicated NK Adventure tour manager and transferred to your hotel. Complete check-in formalities and take a brief break to freshen up. Later, begin your educational city exploration at the Visvesvaraya Industrial and Technological Museum (VITM), where students participate in interactive science experiments, aviation galleries, and mechanical engineering exhibits. Next, walk through the historic Cubbon Park, observing the magnificent neo-Dravidian architecture of the Vidhana Soudha and the High Court of Karnataka. Continue to the historic Lalbagh Botanical Garden, established over 200 years ago by Hyder Ali, to study rare flora and the 19th-century Victorian Glasshouse. End your day visiting the grand Bangalore Palace to observe Tudor-style woodwork and royal artifacts before returning to your hotel for dinner and an overnight stay in Bangalore.

Enjoy a hearty South Indian breakfast and check out from your hotel. Set out toward Mysore, beginning the day with an experiential physics and mechanical excursion at Wonderla Amusement Park (or, for biological science groups, an educational wildlife safari at Bannerghatta National Park). After lunch, resume your drive along the highway toward the royal city of Mysore. En route, make a brief stop at Srirangapatna, the historic island fortress of Tipu Sultan, to visit Dariya Daulat Bagh (Summer Palace) and examine 18th-century mural warfare paintings. Arrive in Mysore by late afternoon and check into your hotel. In the evening, visit the world-famous Brindavan Gardens located below the Krishnarajasagara (KRS) Dam to observe hydraulic engineering and witness the illuminated musical fountain show. Return to your hotel for dinner and an overnight stay in Mysore.

Following breakfast, complete hotel check-out formalities and begin your discovery of Mysore’s landmarks. Visit Mysuru Palace, one of the largest royal residences in India, examining Indo-Saracenic architecture, the Durbar Hall, and antique weaponry. Next, head to Chamundi Hill to study the heritage of the Sri Chamundeshwari Temple and observe the massive monolithic Nandi statue. Continue to the Mysore Zoo (Sri Chamarajendra Zoological Gardens), one of India's oldest and most well-maintained conservation parks, to learn about captive breeding and wildlife rescue programs. In the afternoon, visit a local Government Sandalwood Oil & Silk Weaving Workshop to observe traditional Karnataka silk loom manufacturing. Later, transfer to Bangalore Airport or Railway Station (or Mysore Airport/Junction) for your scheduled flight or express train back home to Delhi, taking along lasting knowledge and memorable experiences with NK Adventure.
