Upon arrival, meet your dedicated NK Adventure educational tour manager and board your comfortable coach for the scenic uphill drive to Gangtok (approx. 4–5 hours). Follow the winding course of the Teesta River, observing shifts in river basin topography and sub-tropical vegetation. Arrive in Gangtok (5,410 ft) by late afternoon and check into your hotel. After an orientation briefing outlining the tour's learning objectives and safety guidelines, take an evening acclimatization walk along the clean, pedestrianized MG Marg. Overnight stay in Gangtok.

Following an early breakfast, set out for a field study excursion toward the Indo-China border region. Drive up to the sacred, oval-shaped Tsomgo Lake (Changu Lake) at an altitude of 12,310 ft. Students will study glacial lake formations, alpine wetland ecosystems, and the seasonal adaptation of flora and fauna in freezing environments. Continue further to Baba Harbhajan Singh Mandir (13,123 ft) to learn about border defense history and life in extreme weather. On the return drive, make stops to observe high-altitude terrain shifts before arriving back in Gangtok. Spend the evening reviewing the day's field observations and enjoying dinner. Overnight stay in Gangtok.

Enjoy a morning breakfast before embarking on an educational exploration of Gangtok's cultural and ecological institutions. Visit the renowned Namgyal Institute of Tibetology (NIT), a leading research centre for Mahayana Buddhism housing rare manuscripts, thangkas, and religious iconography. Step next door to the Do Drul Chorten stupa to observe traditional Buddhist architecture. Next, head to the Directorate of Handicrafts & Handloom to observe artisans practicing wood carving, Lepcha weaving, and carpet making. Conclude with panoramic valley views from Ganesh Tok Viewpoint. Return to the hotel for dinner and an overnight stay in Gangtok.

After breakfast, check out from the hotel and begin your road journey toward Darjeeling (approx. 4 hours), descending along the Teesta valley and climbing into the tea-carpeted slopes of West Bengal. Upon reaching Darjeeling (6,700 ft), check into your hotel and freshen up. In the afternoon, visit a functioning Darjeeling Tea Estate & Factory. Students will engage in an interactive session on the agro-climatic conditions required for Camellia sinensis, followed by an industrial walkthrough showing the stages of tea processing: withering, rolling, fermenting, drying, and grading. In the evening, explore the historic Chowrasta (The Mall) and observe colonial-era urban planning. Overnight stay in Darjeeling.

Early morning (around 4:00 AM), drive to Tiger Hill to witness the sunrise over Mount Kanchenjunga and Mount Everest, studying solar illumination and geographical horizons. On the return descent, visit the Batasia Loop, an engineering marvel showcasing circular railway elevation loops, along with the Gorkha War Memorial, and stop at the 19th-century Ghoom Monastery. Return to the hotel for breakfast, then proceed to the Himalayan Mountaineering Institute (HMI) to explore its museum of Everest expeditions, climbing gear, and high-altitude survival techniques.
